During the exile Sita the wife of Ram had been eloped by the king of Lanka named Ravan the devil. In the mean time Ram came in contact with Sugriv the king of monkeys and had somehow managed to know that Sita was spending days with tears and was missing Ram very badly. Then Ram had decided to invade Lanka and save Sita from that dire situation.
At last with the assistance of Sugriv Ram made an armed force and had toiled all the day to make a stone bridge over Indian Ocean to cross it to reach Lanka. Finally in the dusk when they arrived at Lanka the force had made a makeshift war camp on the sea shore.
But since the arrival there Ram started feeling bore. He disclosed it to his team and was advised by Sugriv to visit Ravana’s court in his royal palace. Ram agreed to the suggestion and accepted it.
On the way to Ravana’s palace Ram purchased a most fashionable tea shirt to present to Ravana as a gift.
Ram reached there and came near the court of Ravana. When Ram offered a courtesy smile to Ravana the king of Lanka said, “Hallo, have you reached? Come on to have a mug of coffee.” As if he could anticipate it from before. Any way Ram answered with same smiling face,”Yes, finally I have reached to you.” Ravana again asked,”Did you have any trouble on the way?” Ram replied, No. Ravana then enquired,”How did you cross the vast ocean? “Ram ridiculously answered,” My force had made a stone bridge over the sea.” Ravana almost jumped from the floor in a fit of rage at that news and asked Ram loudly,” Did you take any permission from Road construction and Development department?” Then Ravana had started to scold Ram,”You non sense, whenever you do anything you step on without thinking any pros and cons. It’s the reason behind the kidnap of your wife.” You and your force have made an inroad for the out sider enemies.”
As Ram found Ravana to get angry he took out the tea shirt from packet and offered it to Ravana. At once Ravana got cool and became pleased with it but when he went to put it on he couldn’t do it due to the deficit of more nine necks of the tea shirt. He regretted it and asked Ram to take it back. Ram then answered,” No, I will never put it on because you are so fat that you sweat horribly and the tea shirt too is diffusing horrible smell.”
