Head sir
Sunetra was coming back from chhatradhar palli on a local train. Actually he worked in a courier as a delivery man. His only duty was to reach customer’s items in tact to right place. That day too Sunetra went to deliver the items in Chhatradharpalli. Now it’s 7pm. After half an hour the train will teach to Sunetra’s village Dumurgram. Two more stations are to be crossed to reach Dumurgram. Within a blink of eyes all passengers alighted from train. One more station is now left to reach the distance.
Once Sunetra looked back and visualised inside the compartment. He noted that the entire compartment got totally empty, nobody was there. Sunetra felt lonely. Any way, it was yet to reach the next station. Suddenly someone’s sneezing sound had made Sunetra alert. Then he could find the head master sitting at a window seat. Sunetra got astonished at this sight and told the elderly, ” Hi master mosai, how are you? You’re looking very pale and sickly. What’s the reason? ” The old man smiled and answered,” Obviously I’m an well aged person. It’s quite natural to be of poor health. ” Sunetra at once got up to touch his head sir’s feet and in fact did it.
Head sir asked Sunetra,”What are you doing now? From where are you coming?” Sunetra replied his each and every question.
In due time they reached Dumurgram and both got down from the train. On the way Sunetra was to cross head sir’s home. When they reached near the old man’s home the aged took a turn towards another way. Sunetra asked him, “Sir, won’t you enter your home? ” Head sir answered,”No, I’ve some need there. I’ll enter later. You pl. visit my home for once. “
Sunetra indeed came to head sir’s house and from a distance he could find his another classmate getting out of that building with tears in his eyes. Sunetra too got entered the house only to see the family members of headsir crying over the dead body of head master mosai. On enquiring Sunetra came to know that master mosai died that day in the afternoon.
