It’s three days left to end the month of August. Durgamaa was just dozing to take a nap in the afternoon. Suddenly all her four children reached there to remind their mom of Durgapuja to be imminent and they should get ready for every arrangement of their West Bengal tour immediately.
Ganesh asked mom,” How will we travel to West Bengal this time?” Maa answered,”By gaja (elephant).” Kartik immediate claimed,”Never…. elephant is most obsolete. I want to travel by bullet train.” Maa objected,”Impossible….bullet train is yet to reach in India.” Saraswati claimed,” Mom, this journey will be on waterways, I mean ..ship.” Maa agreed and asked Ganapatl to book six reservation tickets for Diamondharbour bound passenger ship and five animals’ ticket booking for pets’ cabin.”
Lakshmi asked,”Mom, what about Mahishasur?” Durgamaa replied,”This time I wont be taking any villain image like Asur. He takes food excess. The deficit of fodder product appears there to embarrass me.”
Within evening this message got circulated throughout entire heaven and hell. On hearing it Mahishasur rushed to maadurga to take challenge but mom was adamant to stick to her decision.
Then Mahishasur threatened Durgamaa ,” Barring me you have to face a public unrest there.” Devi cared a freak for such a trifle threat. But in fact when the maa Durga team reached pandals no visitors payed homage to any of the team but commented with a malice,” E raam asur is missing under the feet of the goddess.” Ego of Durga got demeaned at such a humiliation.
Devi immediately called Mahadev on mobile and requested him to send Mahishasur to Bengal in care of Majadev’s driver ox. Mahadev did it so. Problem got solved.
