Captivating mirror

Manab and his four friends took an one storied three room building together on rent and used it as a mess. Here is an irony that every mess member had at least one mirror to use but Manab didn’t have any mirror neither small nor large. But he somehow or other had managed to manipulate any mirror from any messmate whenever he needed.

One day when Manab was in hurriness to go and join his morning shift duty he needed a mirror to shave and dress up. He naturally snatched the mirror from Chandrava who was in same hurriness to leave for office. Naturally Chadrava needed that mirror with same intense. Thus the two incidents coincide and a shoddy brawl appeared between two friends.

That squabble forced Manab to decide to buy a mirror immediately because Manab felt a tremendous offence at some insulting comments of Chandrava.

Manab indeed purchased a beautiful mirror of full size that evening and brought it home. It was so nice that his every mess mate got impressed at it’s perfect reflection, shape, artistically decorated frame of brass. Manab fitted it on wall in one side of his room.

Next day when Manab was getting ready for going to his office he noted one strange thing that the mirror didn’t reflect any impression of his room but some other picture of a marriage dias where Manab was in a newly groom’s dress with a beautiful bride. Manab was greatly surprised at that scene but he had no time to think of it farther. So he had left for office.

But throughout the day Manab kept thinking over the incident. After coming back from office Manab came in front of the mirror just to watch it’s reflection again. Now what he could see on the mirror that was the bride was calling Manab with a waving gesture. Manab replied her that he would comeback quick after getting freshned from bathroom.

Next day when Manab was getting ready for office that exquisite lady again came near Manab in the reflection with a smiling face. Manab also bid a good bye to the beautiful lady with a charming smile.

In the evening when Manab came back home he was with a fever of high temperature. In the midnight Manab saw that the bride came out of the mirror and was massaging Manab’s body softly. Now Manab asked her ,”Who are you?” The lady answered that before hundred births Manab was a rajput warrior and the bride was an Egyptian lady. Both fell in love with each other and were going to marry but the betrothed of the lady attacked the couple to trigger a mayhem by killing Manab and left the lady closed in that room. The impression of that mayhem was reflected on the mirror all along. Henceforth the lady had been spending a captive life in the mirror but Manab had got an emancipation. Manab asked the lady ,”How will you get freedom from captivity?” The lady asked Manab to break the mirror. Then the lady would be freed.

Next morning Manab called his messmates to tell the incident in details and requested them to break the mirror into dust. The young men did it so. The lady got freedom.
